I was shocked by how low the ratings are for this location. I've been coming here for years and even though it is not a boutique feel... it is not bad. I usually come in, get what I need, spend a decent amount of time in line (I really try to avoid self-checkout).. service is usually friendly enough. But this review is for my experience at the deli this past weekend. I wish I would've gotten her name, but the woman who took my fried chicken order for Mother's Day was very personable. So much so, she remembered me when I came to pick it up the next day in person. She jokingly let me know that I was later than the pick up time.. which made me feel there was a bit of personalized service which is missing nowadays. Oh and the chicken was delicious. Perfectly seasoned and tender. Everyone was very happy. This will now be my go to for my fried chicken catering orders.

This Saker-owned ShopRite has some interesting quirks: -a main entrance/exit that encourages UK-style left-handed traffic (and collisions at every corner) -an in-house Dunkin Donuts and optician in the baked goods section -restrooms in the second-floor employee break area that are also available to customers -a large kosher food aisle that is actually two aisles -a salad bar, an antipasto bar, a pizza/fried chicken station, and a "Chinese food" buffet -"God Bless the U.S.A" playing on repeat 24/7 If you prefer DIY checkout because you know your way around a touch-screen, then the 6 - 8 self-checkout stations by the pharmacy will probably float your boat. (You'll still need a store associate to manually process coupons and rainchecks at self-checkout.) Most, if not all, of the POS terminal have been fitted with chip-readers.
